Robyn is a firm believer that community is a major component of maintaining health, mental health and wellbeing. Her passion is approaching each individual where they are currently at with a trauma-informed lens. She specializes in supporting individuals through fertility, relationships, navigating cultural and gender norms, and centering their needs while helping them thrive. Working with trauma-exposed professionals, survivors of intimate partner violence and individuals living with cancer has taught her that healing happens in community, and she aims to be part of yours.
She is a trauma-informed and client-centered therapist, drawing on a variety of evidence based and culturally based techniques that best fit your needs. Her goal is to take your lead on how you wish to go through the therapy process and incorporate any cultural or community practices you find essential to your wellbeing. Before that, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Mathematics from The University of Waterloo, having switched from the Mathematics program earlier in his academic career.
Ben has long had a passion for relationships. He firmly believes nobody is born into this world to be alone. Thus, he serves as a psychotherapist hoping to help anyone who needs it with the trials and tribulations that life inevitably brings to us. With a focus on relationships, anxiety, depression, communication, esteem, emotional regulation, and trauma, he seeks to support those in need in the way that they need to be supported.
Ben draws upon multiple areas and evidence bases to support his treatment. Finding a home base in Acceptance and Commitment therapy for individuals, and Gottman-Style Therapy for couples, he borrows on other modalities as well when relevant and useful. Ben’s guiding philosophy is to become obsolete, such that his clients no longer require his services.
Ben provides a space for clients to let out all that is inside, that perhaps they can’t let out with anyone else in their lives. A space to explore the self, to be heard, and to grow. He helps clients feel at ease in his office through warm compassion and a humorous light-hearted approach.

About Kendra
With a passion for the human capacity to heal, Kendra is down to earth as she meets each client where they’re at in life. She takes a holistic approach to incorporate every aspect of her clients’ lives and stays focused on inclusivity and safety — with a dash of humour for good measure.
Kendra earned her Master’s degree in Social Work, and completed further training in Trauma Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Couples Counselling, and Sex Therapy. She has extensive experience supporting survivors of trauma, especially survivors of sexual abuse or domestic violence. With deep compassion and a high level of skill, she has seen her clients progress in their wellbeing and meet many of their life goals.
Using the evidence-based theory of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Kendra helps couples find clarity on where they are stuck and how to build a path forward. Sessions focus on slowing down the conversation, honing in on deeper emotions and supporting each person to share their experience and needs. This process creates new opportunities for couples to reconnect, strengthen intimacy and navigate conflict with less tension.
Throughout her studies and personal life, Kendra has focused on healthy sexuality and spirituality. Working with individuals and couples, she aims to help each person find their own sense of healthy sexuality and relationship. She has spent significant time being an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in faith communities and social service agencies and works hard at her allyship.
